If you’re new to intermittent fasting and are trying to break out of the midnight snacking cycle, try some tea and a biscuit. You’ll feel full and stay asleep all night.
Crackers and Cheese
Crackers and cheese are another great snack combo to eat before bedtime. Obviously, we’re not talking about eating an entire sleeve of crackers or an entire wedge of cheese. A few pieces should work. Edamame beans are low in fat, low in calories, but high in protein. They also encourage your brain to produce melatonin, a hormone that regulates sleep. Pop a few steamed edamame with sea salt into your mouth before you brush your teeth. You might find that you sleep deeper and wake up more refreshed.
